For ten years Stettbacher Signal Processing AG have developed and distributed their own camera and vision products. The trigger for the in-house development was the annoyance with poorly documented closed-source solutions on the market, which bind the user to the supplier for better or worse.

The systems developed by us basically are open-spec and open-source. This means, that all the information and specifications relevant to the user are openly presented, and that especially the drivers and sample programs are given in the source code. This way everyone can use this code and adapt it to their own needs, without having to start all over again. Also, the code can be compiled for any target system, so that there are no barriers.
